Biosketch
Katherine Marks, Ph.D., is a behavioral scientist with expertise in the intersecting organizational, community, and policy factors underlying the opioid epidemic and recovery. As the project director for the Kentucky Opioid Response Effort (KORE), Dr. Marks leads the Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities’ SAMHSA-funded State Opioid Response grant with the mission of increasing equitable access to high quality, evidence-based prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery support services throughout the Commonwealth. Dr. Marks is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral Science at the University of Kentucky. She is a Co-Investigator in the HEALing Communities and J-COIN studies. Dr. Marks received a doctorate in Experimental Psychology.
