There is a lack of knowledge and understanding in the area of research regarding pediatric disabilities and athletes.
Objectives

1. Review what is known about sports medicine in athletes with disabilities
2. Discuss gaps in research for pediatric athletes with disabilities
3. Identify current research related to pediatric athletes with disabilities
4. Discuss important research next steps for research regarding pediatric athletes with disabilities
