Overview

The purpose of the Kentucky School Nurses Association (KSNA) is to foster high standards of school nursing practice; to promote the professional advancement of school nurses; and to promote the welfare of school nurses with the aim that all students may receive better health care.

The functions of the KSNA are to develop a code of ethical conduct for school nurses; to represent school nurses and to serve as their representative with allied professional groups, and with governments, communities, and with the public; and to provide for the continuing professional development of school nurses.

The annual conference is the opportunity for school nurses in Kentucky to come together and foster these concepts to better provide care for students and staff of Kentucky.

 

Conference registration includes all conference materials, breaks for both days, lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, and continuing education contact hours. No continental breakfast provided for either day of the conference. Please read carefully. All times listed are EASTERN TIME

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, University of Kentucky HealthCare CECentral is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
