Jordan Clay, MD

Jordan L. Clay is a board-certified neurologist with additional board certifications and accredited fellowship training in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. He specializes in diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, notably drug-resistant epilepsy. Other clinical interests are epilepsy surgery evaluation/planning, management of neuromodulation device therapies for epilepsy, and management of epilepsy in the elderly.

Dr. Clay is originally from Kentucky, and completed undergraduate studies, medical school, and his residency in neurology at the University of Kentucky. He then completed specialized fellowship training at the University of Virginia before returning home to Kentucky to join the UK neurology faculty as an epileptologist.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, and the American Epilepsy Society. He also has interests in medical education and serves as an associate director for the neurology clerkship and the neurophysiology elective for the 3rd and 4th year UK medical students. He is also a clinical preceptor for the advanced clinical medicine course for the 2nd year UK medical students.

Dr. Goldstein is the Ruth L Works Professor and Chair, Department of Neurology, Associate Dean for Clinical Research, College of Medicine, Co-Director of the Kentucky Neuroscience Institute, Co-Director of the UK Neuroscience Research Priority Area, and Interim Director of the UK-Norton Healthcare Stroke Care Network at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Goldstein focuses his clinical, research, and service activities on stroke and related disorders. He has published over 330 peer review journal articles, 51 chapters, 136 editorials, position papers and letters, and 820 professional reports. He has served in multiple leadership positions for the American Academy of Neurology, the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, and the Association of University Professors of Neurology, including each organization's national board of directors. He has also served on review panels for the NIH, the FDA, and other organizations. Dr. Goldstein has received multiple awards for his teaching, research, and service contributions, including the Chairman’s Award from the American Heart Association, the AHA National Volunteer Advocate of the Year Award, the William Feinberg Award for Excellence in Clinical Stroke, and the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, North Carolina’s highest civilian honor, for his service to the state related to improving stroke care. He currently is the contact Principal Investigator for the Kentucky CDC Coverdell National Acute Stroke Program award.

Zain Guduru, MD

Dr. Zain Guduru received his medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College in Andhrapradesh, India. He did a Preliminary Internal Medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York and Neurology residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Then, he did a Movement Disorders fellowship at Augusta University, in Georgia.

His clinical interests include Movement Disorders, Parkinson’s Disease and Parkinsonism, Huntington’s disease, dystonia, ataxia, gait disorders, tic disorder and deep brain stimulation (DBS).

Dr. Guduru is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky.

Jordan Harp, PhD

Dr. Jordan Harp completed his undergraduate degree in philosophy at DePauw University in Indiana and his MS and PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Kentucky, specializing in clinical neuropsychology. He practiced for one year as a psychologist at the VA Medical Center in Lexington. He completed postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the University of Kentucky, department of neurology.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, reading, exploring the Lexington area, and maintaining interests in the history of popular music, language, mathematics, and current trends in literature and cultural criticism.

David Toupin, MD

Dr. David Neil Toupin is a child neurologist with a passion for diagnosing and treating children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. As a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Dr. Toupin went on to complete a combined residency program in pediatrics and child neurology at the University of Kentucky. He splits his time between the child neurology and developmental pediatric clinics, working with multidisciplinary care teams to provide the best care for his patients. With a strong clinical interest in neurogenetics, he uses modern genetic testing to find molecular diagnoses and individually tailor treatments.

Winner of multiple patient centered care awards during his training, Dr. Toupin takes pride in providing compassionate, family-centered care. He enjoys listening to—and learning from—his patients and their families. Personal interests include spending time and traveling with his family, basketball, and chess.

Jared Wilcox, MD, MSc, PhD, FRCSC

Dr. Jared Wilcox completed his neurosurgery residency at McGill University. He is currently working on his Deformity Spine Fellowship at the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Wilcox is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Neurosurgery.
