Biosketch
Dr. David Neil Toupin is a child neurologist with a passion for diagnosing and treating children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. As a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Dr. Toupin went on to complete a combined residency program in pediatrics and child neurology at the University of Kentucky. He splits his time between the child neurology and developmental pediatric clinics, working with multidisciplinary care teams to provide the best care for his patients. With a strong clinical interest in neurogenetics, he uses modern genetic testing to find molecular diagnoses and individually tailor treatments.
Winner of multiple patient centered care awards during his training, Dr. Toupin takes pride in providing compassionate, family-centered care. He enjoys listening to—and learning from—his patients and their families. Personal interests include spending time and traveling with his family, basketball, and chess.
