Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the diagnosis and treatment of common sports-related shoulder, elbow, and knee injuries.
2. Apply the use of structured physical therapy and rehabilitation following a shoulder, elbow, or knee injury.
3. Discuss the evidence-based principles of cartilage preservation and restoration techniques.
4. Identify the pathoanatomy of the sports-related shoulder, elbow, and knee injuries.

Target Audience

The target audience includes orthopaedic surgeons, sports medicine specialists, primary care sports medicine physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice registered nurses, physical therapists, and athletic trainers.
