The College of Medicine’s Women in Medicine and Science (WIMS) group is offering a Professional Development certificate that can help both faculty members and trainees (clinical residents and fellows, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows) develop the necessary skills in leadership, administration, and teaching that will help them advance their careers. The certificate is earned over 2 years and requires participation in 3 WIMS programs each of the two years as well as attendance at 4 sessions during the annual WIMS Day that is held each fall semester. Membership on one of the WIMS subcommittees, which provides excellent networking opportunities, is also required. The certificate program is available to all faculty and trainees in the College of Medicine.
