Biosketch
Kim J. Chillag, MD, received his medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown. He completed his internship at the Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, West Virginia, and his residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He completed fellowships in sports medicine at the Oklahoma Center for Athletes in Oklahoma City and in total joint replacement at Joint Implant Surgeons, Inc., in Columbus, Ohio. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the Columbia Medical Journal Club, the Columbia Medical Society, the South Carolina Medical Association, the South Carolina Orthopaedic Association, the Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the National Osteonecrosis Foundation. He serves as an associate clinical professor with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and has been honored as the Best Orthopedic Surgeon in the Midlands by Best Doctors. His specialties and clinical interests include hip and knee replacement surgery, revision total hip surgery and revision total knee surgery.
