Sarah E. Lester, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Kentucky in 2008. She began her career as a Registered Nurse in the University of Kentucky Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit, where she worked for three years. Sarah accepted a Registered Nurse weekend position in the Stroke Intensive Care Unit for an additional two years prior to graduating with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Kentucky in 2013. Sarah earned her Family Nurse Practitioner certification in June 2013, and pursued a brief stint in rural family practice prior to accepting her current position as a Neurosciences Clinical Nurse Specialist in January 2014.
