Biosketch
Andrew Bledsoe, MBA, PCMH CCE currently serves as Executive Director for the Northeast Kentucky Regional Health Information Organization (NeKY RHIO). Mr. Bledsoe has worked in the NeKY RHIO for over five years. He began working as a Practice and Hospital EHR Consultant working to assist providers (both primary care and specialty) and critical access hospitals in attaining meaningful use. Mr. Bledsoe then became the Network Director for the Rural Health Information Technology Network Development program and has since been named Executive Director.
Mr. Bledsoe holds both a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Health Administration. In addition, he holds a certificate in Patient Centered Medical Home from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), HIPAA Privacy and Security and Healthcare Technology Specialist-Workflow Redesign, both from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). He has completed specialized training in HL7, project management, Meaningful Use, patient navigation and federal grant administration. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Rural Health Association (KRHA), the Executive Committee for the Western Appalachian Kentucky Health Care Access Network (WAKHCAN) and chairs the Public Information Committee for KRHA.
