Biosketch
Steven Kritz, MD, has been with the Division of Medical Services, Research and Information Technology at the Addiction Research and Treatment Corporation (ARTC) for more than 9 years in the capacities of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Manager and Research Coordinator.
Dr. Kritz has been Project Manager for several research studies conducted at ARTC in the areas of substance abuse and HIV/AIDS treatment, including a study sponsored by the NIDA Clinical Trials Network. These studies have resulted in peer-reviewed publications for which he has been lead and co-author.
Prior to working at ARTC, Dr. Kritz practiced rural Internal Medicine for over 19 years in the Northern Catskill region of New York State. He is a graduate of the City University of New York Queens College with a BA in chemistry and received his MD from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Kings County Hospital.
