Biosketch
Dr. Ragsdale earned an MD from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, serving as Med-Peds chief resident his final year. He completed a general internal medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh and earned an MS in Medical Education.
In his role as Assistant Dean, Dr. Ragsdale oversees the curriculum for the third and fourth years of medical school. He is also an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency where he directs the Clinician-Educator Track.
He has led multiple workshops at national meetings on medical education and faculty development.
Clinically, he practices as an adult hospitalist.
