Robert A. Broughton, MD

My name is Robert A. Broughton; I received my medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University in 1976. I completed my residency training in pediatrics followed by a year as Chief Resident at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in 1980. I then completed fellowship training in pediatric infectious diseases at the Baylor College of Medicine in 1982.

I have been a member of the pediatric faculty at the University of Kentucky since 1983 and am currently Professor of Pediatrics and Chief of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases. I am board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
