Biosketch
Chaplain Michael Sibley is a Board-Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains and a Licensed Pastoral Counselor in the state of Kentucky. He holds a Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling and a Master of Divinity with a specialization in Urban Anthropology. He has completed three years of clinical residency and has served as the Chaplain of Eastern State Hospital since 2013. In this role, Mike offers spiritual and emotional support to inpatient psychiatric patients as well as serving as the manager of the staff support program. In addition to his work at ESH, he is also the integrative group therapist for an IOP. Over the years, Mike as worked in numerous areas of healthcare including, NICU, PICU, trauma, ED, ICU, transplant, oncology, and hospice. He has over 25 years of experience in volunteer and professional ministry with over 20 of those years in clinical roles.
