Biosketch
Joe Kuehne currently serves as the Deputy ISC Manager for Appalachia HIDTA. In this role, Mr. Kuehne oversees the daily operations of investigative analyst from a multi-agency coalition comprised of members from Appalachia HIDTA, Kentucky State Police, Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Kentucky National Guard Counterdrug Program. Mr. Kuehne also serves as the Site Lead for three Overdose Response Strategy (ORS) Teams serving Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia, in conjunction with partners from the Centers for Disease Control Foundation (CDC Foundation). Mr. Kuehne has previously served as a Senior Intelligence Analyst for the Drug Enforcement Administration, and also served as a Kentucky State Trooper and Probation and Parole Officer. Mr. Kuehne is a Veteran of the United States Army where he served on active duty as an Intelligence Officer for eight years. He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University holding a Bachelor of Science in Fire and Safety Engineering and has completed graduate courses in Intelligence Studies from American Military University. Mr. Kuehne holds the title of Kentucky Colonel from the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and is a member of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance, International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts, and the EKU Worn Cleat Club.
