Biosketch
Dr. Chase Kluemper is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand. He has expertise in treating conditions of the elbow, wrist, and hand and is associated with multiple institutions in Lexington, including the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital system, the Lexington Surgery Center and Shriners Hospital for Children. Dr. Kluemper earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Tennessee. He completed a Hand Surgery Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University and the Philadelphia Hand Center.
Dr. Kluemper teaches orthopedic residents at UK and serves as faculty for the Hand Surgery Fellowship. He cares for athletes at UK and surrounding colleges and highschools as well as regional trauma patients. His specific interests include peripheral nerve, upper extremity reconstruction following tetraplegia, sports injuries and wrist arthroscopy.
