Heidi Nelson, MD, FACS

Heidi Nelson, M.D., F.A.C.S. is the Medical Director of Cancer Programs for the American College of Surgeons, of which she is a Fellow. She was Co-Chair of the National Cancer Institute-sponsored American College of Surgeons Oncology Group and founding leader of the ACS Clinical Research Program. She is a founding editor of the Operative Standards Manual and Synoptic Operative Report Material and a founding member of the Cancer Standards Surgery Program.
