Allison Johnson, PT, DPT, CSRS

Allison Johnson is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has worked at UK HealthCare since 2006. For the past 11 years Allison has specialized in neurological physical therapy and received certification as a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist in 2016. Allison is an active member of the UK HealthCare's multi-disciplinary Stroke Performance Improvement Team and serves as a both a mentor to new employees orienting on the neurology and neurosurgery service lines, and a clinical instructor to physical therapy interns. Allison is passionate about stroke rehabilitation and pursues continuing education in emerging technology and evidence-based practice for patients with neurological impairments and is an advocate for stroke prevention in the community.
