Maurice K. Allgeier, III, MD, FAAP

Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Dr. Maurice Allgeier decided to become a pediatrician after being diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia at the age of 13. His ties to Louisville are deep - he attended Saint Xavier High School in Louisville, KY, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Biology from the University of Louisville and graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his Pediatric Internship and Residency at Texas Children’s Hospital through Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He then returned to Louisville in 2003 to join as full partner at All Star Pediatrics. In 2014, he helped form ONE Pediatrics – a merger of All Star Pediatrics with several other independent pediatric practices in the Louisville area. He serves on the Board of Directors of ONE Pediatrics and is President of the organization. He is married with two children and loves boating and traveling with his family.
