Biosketch
Elizabeth Riley is a Clinical Psychologist and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Innovation in Population Health at the University of Kentucky. Her research interests focus on understanding how systems at multiple levels organize around, respond to, and change after low base-rate critical events, predominantly in the fields related to mental health. Her work is grounded in implementation science, particularly in understand the strategy around and impact of systems-level change in response to a critical event. Dr. Riley has a research and clinical background in trauma and substance use, and she has a passion for working with complex, high-need/high risk client populations. She has a strong publication and external funding record, and she has worked predominantly in academic settings. At the IPH Center, much of her work is related to data analysis, reporting, and managing, as well as publication support. Dr. Riley received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kentucky in 2020.
