Biosketch
Tina Messer is a Specialty Court Manager.
Tina started out as a Drug Court Case Specialist in 2004, in the Laurel County program and was promoted to Program Supervisor in 2005 and then promoted to Regional Supervisor in 2007. In 2011, Tina was on the move once again and became a Regional Specialist. It was a position that required her to fill in for staff all across the state. In September of this year, Tina was promoted to her current position as manager.
Tina earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University and her Master’s degree in Women’s and Gender studies from the University of Louisville.
Tina is on the board of Operation UNITE
Tina served on the governor’s council on homelessness.
Tina served on the Louisville Metro Criminal Justice Commission.
She was President of Network-Women in State Government from 2008-2010.
Tina was an organizer the Kentucky First Lady’s Shop and Share event (benefited Kentucky domestic violence shelters) from 2008-2015.
