Biosketch
Tricia Ellinger received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from Boise State University1996, followed by her Masters Degree in Social at Walla Walla College in 1997. She became a family therapist and community specialist at the Idaho Youth Ranch residential facility and later became a School Social worker for the Cassia School District in Burley, Idaho. There she became a prevention specialist in bullying, drug use and sexual abuse prevention for K-3 students. She raised her two biological children with behavioral and health issues, later taking medical retirement. She adopted a relative sibling group of three who have significant developmental, intellectual and behavioral health needs. She now advocates for families to understand the Idaho system of care.
