Biosketch
Pat Moore received her Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation from BYU in 1996. She spent the next five years working at the North Carolina Correctional Institute for Women in Raleigh, North Carolina. There she worked in a day treatment program for mentally ill inmates and then helped develop a residential program for mentally ill inmates in one of the dorms at the prison. She returned to Utah and began working for JJS in 2002. She has worked as a part-timer, Counselor I, Counselor III, and Supervisor at Slate Canyon Youth Center in both Detention and Secure Care, a Supervisor at Springville O&A and has been working as the DJJS Training Bureau Director since January of 2014.
