With over 20 years of experience working in Utah’s Department of Human Services, Angie has come to love the opportunity of assisting Professionals in taking ownership in their role of changing young lives. She is a favorite among new staff and the veterans as she engages them in meaningful discussions about their role as a change agent. She has a passion for building programs and delivery services based upon theory and evidence based practices that have been shown to be effective in improving outcomes for kids and families.
Angie received a Master’s Degree in Psychology with emphasis on Neuropsychology from Brigham Young University. She is the mother of three amazing children, three horses, one mini horse, and a beloved basset hound. She loves juggling career, horses, kids and fun. Angie is an avid fan of Tom Petty and the Rolling Stones. It has been suggested that her flair and spice for life is directly linked to her mane of fiery red hair which if ever cut would significantly reduce her supernatural optimism and positive influence on the youth and families she serves.
We live in a world that is often much more exclusive, divisive and alienating rather than inclusive, unifying and supportive. As professionals, we are frequently the last line of defense, support, and connection for many children. Please join the team from Utah and experience how the incorporation of TCOM principles into already established programs and systems can create opportunities for awareness, growth, and change.
