Biosketch
Dr. Kellar-Guenther has been an active part of the public health field for over twenty years as a program evaluator. She brings her passion for program evaluation, interagency collaboration, and continuous quality improvement to this project.
Dr. Kellar-Guenther’s work in public health has been focused on community health and has included work in newborn screening, early childhood intervention, patient navigation, community health work, health literacy, and employment for persons with disabilities.
She and Dr. Marci Sontag have co-facilitated several state and national meetings. They are very excited to work with the KyPQC to determine the next steps in improving the lives of mothers and newborns in Kentucky.
Dr. Kellar-Guenther holds advanced degrees in Communication Theory (Illinois State University) and Interpersonal Communication (Arizona State University). She has used the resulting skills to teach and consult in the public health arena with the University of Colorado.
