Biosketch
Dr. Charlton is an epidemiologist and health services researcher at the University of Iowa College of Public Health and the Associate Director of the Iowa Cancer Registry. She has conducted numerous studies of risk factors, screening behaviors, quality of care measures, practice pattern variation and outcomes related to cancer, with an emphasis on rural populations. She is also a co-leader of Community Outreach and Engagement in the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, a member of the Board of Directors of the Iowa Cancer Consortium, and a member of the American Cancer Society Iowa State Leadership Board.
