Biosketch
Lyndsey Neese MD MMM FACOG, is the current KY Section ACOG chair and practicing OB/GYN in Kentucky. She has over 15 years of experience in managing antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum
care for the maternal fetal medicine service at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY. Former chair of the
OBGYN department and medical director of quality for women’s services, Dr. Neese developed and implemented hemorrhage risk tools, massive hemorrhage order sets, and OB drills. She was the lead surgeon on Placenta Accreta cases and for complex maternal and fetal deliveries.
Dr. Neese completed residency at the University of Louisville. She is a Certified Physician Executive, and completed her Masters in Medical Management at Carnegie Mellon University. During her Residency she received several teaching awards.
Currently Dr. Neese is the medical advisor the Kentucky Perinatal Quality Collaborative. Starting in August of 2025, she will assume the role of Division Director for Maternal and Child Health for the Kentucky Department of Public Health.
