Biosketch
Jaryd Zummer is a board-certified emergency and pediatric emergency medicine physician at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at CHU Ste-Justine Hospital (University of Montreal) in Montreal, QC, Canada.
Dr. Zummer serves as the Residency Assistant Program Director for the department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Kentucky. His particular areas of interest and research include pediatric emergency procedures and quality improvement, as well as the management of pediatric traumatic and orthopedic emergencies.
