Forsyth longitudinal root caries and diet study (ongoing 15 years)
Incidence of root and coronal caries in medication induced Xerostomic adults as compared to medication free adults and its relation to diet.
Sjögren’s syndrome: This study was a collaborative epidemiological study of 500 people to determine the effect of medication on caries and diet. This longitudinal study was an extension of the Nutrition and Oral Health Study to evaluate the diet of elderly people who may or may not be on medication. A program that is web based placing the caries, gingival index program and diet analysis program has been written for us by Arthur Papas allowing analysis of the effect of diet on caries
