Biosketch
Pete Gutierrez, MD is an assistant professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. After completing his Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Emory University, he was the first to complete a Pediatric Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship. He is currently Fellowship Ultrasound Curriculum Coordinator for the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and also coordinates a similar curriculum for the Division of Pediatric Critical Care. He is deeply passionate about medical education at all levels including with bedside ultrasound, as Teaching Center Faculty at CHOA for Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and a frequent teacher for medical students, residents, and fellows.
