Biosketch
Dr. Suzanne Kingery is an associate professor of pediatrics. She received her B.S. from Davidson College in North Carolina and earned her Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. She then completed her pediatric residency at the University of Louisville/Norton Children’s Hospital and fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She returned to the University of Louisville in 2011 and joined the faculty in the division of pediatric endocrinology. She has an active interest in medical education and currently serves as the Second Year Interdisciplinary Medical Science Course Director for undergraduate medical students in the School of Medicine. Dr. Kingery has a strong professional interest in improving the care and quality of life of children with conditions associated with sexual development and in transgender youth and is an axis member of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), Advisory Committee on Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Sex Development.
