Biosketch
Dana Ionel is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Kentucky. She is a board-certified headache specialist and adult neurologist, and serves as the Program Director for the Headache Medicine Fellowship. She completed her medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences followed by her neurology residency and Headache fellowship at the University of Kentucky. Her interests within headache medicine include veterans headache care, trigeminal autonomic cephalgias, and encouraging self-advocacy for those living with migraine.
