Biosketch
Marietta served fifteen years as is a senior training specialist and performance consultant at the University of Kentucky before her new position leading the Unconscious Bias Initiative for UK which touches all members of the UK community. Faculty, staff and students participate in workshops and presentations designed to mitigate unconscious thoughts that impact the ultimate goal of maintaining a culture where every individual is recognized and valued.
She also provides invigorating programs in leadership development, team effectiveness, diversity, and personal and professional development. Her inspiring facilitation style helps clients and participants to maintain enthusiasm and to effectively apply their learning to meet the personal and practical challenges they face every day.
Marietta is also the creator and facilitator for UK’s outstanding Humanity Academy.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Marietta is a graduate of the Paul Brown Business School and the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is a certified mediator and facilitator and is certified in 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Crucial Confrontations, QAT Facilitation Train-the-Trainer, QPR Suicide Prevention, and many other business and professional programs.
