Biosketch
Terrance Peabody, MD, is Professor and Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Prior to that, he was the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Chicago Medical Center. After graduating medical school at the University of California-Irvine, he continued his training in Orthopaedic Surgery at UC-Irvine. His fellowship in Orthopaedic Oncology was done at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Peabody has maintained a strong commitment to resident education and service to the profession of Orthopaedics. He is currently an officer on the Board of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a Past President of the American Orthopaedic Association. His research portfolio includes publications in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research and Instructional Course Lectures, to name a few. He recently presided over the launch of a state-of-the-art Center for Comprehensive Orthopaedic and Spine Care, a one million square foot facility in downtown Chicago.
