Biosketch
Dr. Stevens received his BS in biology from the University of Kentucky. Following his undergraduate studies he received his Doctor of Pharmacy from Virginia Commonwealth University, in Richmond, VA. After pharmacy school, Dr. Stevens completed a Community Pharmacy Practice Residency with VCU and Buford Road Pharmacy. Following his residency he worked as the clinical services director at Buford Road Pharmacy. From 2008 to 2016, Dr. Stevens served as an assistant professor of pharmacy at VCU in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science. While at VCU he predominately taught and coordinated the Foundations of Pharmacy Practice (Skills) Labs in addition to teaching other Community practice related areas such as communications & pharmaceutical calculations. In 2016, he joined the faculty at the University of Kentucky in the Dept. of Pharmacy Practice & Science.
