Avinash S. Bhakta, MD

Dr. Bhakta received his medical degree from the University of Nevada, and completed residency at the Albany Medical Center inNew York. After completing a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the University Hospital, Cleveland, Dr. Bhakta joined the University of Kentucky Colorectal Surgery team as an assistant professor of surgery. He also currently serves on the gastrointestinal and colorectal cancer team.
