Brittany Young, AGACNP-BC, APRN

Brittany Young, APRN graduated from nurse practitioner school at Northern Kentucky University with a focus on adult gerontology acute care patients. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as an inpatient bedside nurse in the neurosciences department, predominantly neurosurgery since 2009. She is now the Lead Inpatient Advanced Practice Provider for the Department of Neurology. While she has both inpatient and outpatient clinical experience, she currently practices as a nurse practitioner for the inpatient Vascular Neurology (stroke) service.
Her clinical interests include the acutely ill stroke patient, embolic stroke of unknown source (ESUS), stroke in the young, cerebral venous sinus thrombosis, and post stroke recovery.
