Biosketch
Dr. Sacks earned a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Cincinnati.
He began working as a faculty developer with what is now known as the Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT) at the University of Kentucky in 2008. He has served in several leadership roles for the POD Network, a national organization dedicated to improving teaching and learning in higher education, including chair of the Electronic Communication Resources Committee and co-chair of the annual conference. In May 2015, Dr. Sacks started his role as the Health Professions Education Director, which consists of 50% of his time dedicated to educational enhancement in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and 50% of his time for educational outreach to College of Medicine Community Faculty.
