Biosketch
Kristy Young is a certified health education specialist and senior research assistant for the FRESH (Freedom from Radon Exposure and Smoking in the Home) research study in the College of Nursing. Previously, she was employed by the American Cancer Society where she developed a passion for reducing Kentucky's cancer burden through research, community education, and advocacy. Kristy also holds a master's degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Kentucky.
