Biosketch
Linda is the CEO of the 60-member Virginia Association of Free & Charitable Clinics. She has over 20 years of experience in health care ranging from serving as Insurance Administrator for the former Richmond Memorial Hospital to serving as Director of Government Affairs for the law firm of Mezzullo and McCandlish where she worked on Certificate of Public Need applications for the firm’s health care clients and lobbying on their behalf to her most recent position (prior to joining the VAFCC team) as a program and fundraising consultant for national health organizations in the Mid-Atlantic.
Her undergraduate degree is in Political Science from Randolph-Macon College; she received her MPA with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Though she works in the nonprofit sector, Ms. Wilkinson greatly enjoys politics and government and has worked for/with three governors, a former attorney general, and several members of the Virginia General Assembly.
