Biosketch
Ashley Webb is the director of the Kentucky Poison Control Center. Following a bachelor’s and master’s degree in cell biology and graduating with a PharmD from Wingate University School of Pharmacy, she completed an Emergency Medicine Toxicology Residency through Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. She has previously managed the Western NY Poison Center and served as a toxicology consultant for the Upstate Poison Center in NY. As a full time assistant professor at the UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences she developed the only onsite clinical toxicology consult service at Erie County Medical Center where she precepted pharmacy students and pharmacy and medical residents. Currently, she is a board member for the American Board of Applied Toxicology, serving as chair of the credentialing committee. She is an editor for the Journal of Medical Toxicology, and a member of the AAPCC Poison Center Accreditation Committee and AAPCC Quality Committee.
