Biosketch
Dr. Melinda Moore is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Eastern Kentucky University. She previously served on the Department of Defense-funded Military Suicide Bereavement Study at the University of Kentucky and has worked extensively in suicide treatment and suicide bereavement research. Dr. Moore trained in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), a protocol for assessing, treating, and managing suicide risk, and regularly trains clinicians in this treatment framework. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Catholic University of America and is currently chair of the Kentucky Suicide Prevention Group, Inc., a statewide suicide prevention nonprofit.
