Biosketch
Dr. Angelino earned an MD from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed a residency in psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and is Board Certified in Psychosomatic Medicine as well as Psychiatry.
Dr. Angelino has published many papers on the interface of psychiatry and medicine focusing primarily on the interactions of the HIV and hepatitis C epidemics and psychiatric disorders. He is co-author of the book, The Psychiatry of AIDS: A Guide to Diagnosis and Treatment with Dr. Glenn Treisman.
Clinical interests are co-morbid medical and psychiatric conditions including HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and obesity.
