Biosketch
Dr. Espinosa received his MD from Universidad Central del Ecuador. He was the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship to complete a Master's Degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in dementia at the University of Kentucky Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, followed by an internship and residency in Neurology at the University of Kentucky, where he served as Chief Resident in the Department of Neurology. Dr. Espinosa completed a fellowship in Neurophysiology, Epilepsy and Sleep Disorders at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School in Boston.
Dr. Espinosa served as founding director of the North Oaks Neuroscience Institute in Hammond, Louisiana.
Dr. Espinosa is certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has been conducting clinical trials since 2001 at the University of Kentucky, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and at North Oaks Hospital.
