Christopher J. Compton, MD

Christopher J. Compton, MD received his medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL. He served his residency and was the chief resident for Ophthalmology at the Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital also in Birmingham. Dr. Compton then completed his Oculofacial Plastic and Orbital Surgery fellowship in Louisville, KY and Indianapolis, IN with Drs. William Nunery and Harold Lee. Following fellowship, Dr. Compton has been an Assistant Professor in the University of Louisville Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences where he takes part in training ophthalmology residents as well as oculofacial plastic and orbital surgery fellows. He is board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
