Edwin Avallone, DO

Dr. Avallone received his undergraduate degree from Marquette University and graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed residency training at the University of Kentucky and served as Chief Resident. He joined the Division of Hospital Medicine in 2016 as an Academic Hospitalist. Dr. Avallone’s interests lie in medical education for clinical-year medical students, residents as well as high-fidelity clinical simulation and team dynamics. He and his wife are passionate rock climbers and luckily the world-renowned Red River Gorge is a stone’s throw away.
