Biosketch
Dr. Nitz completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wheaton College in 1975, his Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Baylor University in 1976 and completed his PhD in Anatomy from the University of Kentucky in 1984.
Dr. Nitz currently is a professor in the department of physical therapy at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Nitz is board certified in Surgical Considerations for Ankle Osteoarthritis & Surgical Considerations for Ankle Osteoarthritis by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
His educational focus is on Peripheral Joint Dysfunction, Vertebral Joint Dysfunction, Electrophysiologic Assessment and Electrotherapeutics, Special Elective: Spinal Manipulation Efficacy, Special Elective: EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies, Advanced Manual Interventions (Spinal Manipulation), & Research: Analysis and Outcomes.
