The Kentucky Perinatal Quality Collaborative (KyPQC) is a state-level organization made up of perinatal care stakeholders working together to improve health status and outcomes in perinatal health. KyPQC activities include developing and implementing data-driven quality improvement initiatives with Kentucky birthing hospitals, providing educational webinars, disseminating news and resources from the KyPQC and partner organizations, and hosting an annual meeting. The upcoming KyPQC 2022 Fall Annual Meeting will provide cross-disciplinary educational content, feature national speakers, profile other states with successful PQCs, and highlight the KyPQC first quality improvement initiatives. Content will focus on both obstetrical and neonatal care while also addressing social determinants of health, birth equity, and the impact of mental health and substance use disorder on perinatal health outcomes. The annual meeting will be held in the virtual format, which will support access for participants to conveniently participate as well as facilitate national speakers to share specific expertise important to the perinatal care provider network.
