Overview

This educatoinal workshop is geared to medical providers, staff, health department, and addiction staff, and mental health pesonnel. Learners will participate in sessions discussing opportunistic infections associated with HIV, epidemiology and evolution of HIV, how opioid use disorder affects risk of transmission, ethical issues for practitioners, PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis), and occupatoinal exposure to HIV.
