Overview

The University of Kentucky invites you to attend the annual interprofessional conference for community and academic medical center educators and researchers. This conference will advance healthcare by strengthening university-community partnerships in education and research. It will provide important information and offer a forum for dialogue between campus and community-based health professionals in order to enhance community-campus engagement. The conference will address issues pertinent to the education of health professions students in the community as well as partnerships for translational research.

Accreditation

Continuing education credits will be applied for as follows:

Dentistry: This program has been submitted to the Kentucky Board of Dentistry and is pending at this time.

Dietetics: 
This program has been submitted to the The Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification For Dietitians and Nutritionists and is pending at this time.

Medicine, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint-sponsorship of the Southeast KY Area Health Education Center and the University of Kentucky AHEC Program. The Southeast KY Area Health Education Center is accredited by the Kentucky Medical Association (KMA) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. The Southeast KY Area Health Education Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.
